Time is Limited

You only have so much time.  You have 7 days in a week, 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour and you have to decide how you want to use that precious resource.

Do you want to waste it doing activities that you don't enjoy?  Your children don't enjoy?  That are not accomplishing what you want to do?  Activities and obligations that take away from what you really want to do?

Then you need to learn to say, "no."

Another good one, "Sorry but we are unavailable at that particular time."

Your time is precious and you are the gatekeeper or bookkeeper of your time.  So it is up to you to decide when you are available for activities and appointments.  And you get to decide what activities and such you want to be a part of.

Yes, you can tell the doctor's office that you are only available on Wednesdays after 1:00.  You don't even have to explain yourself.  It's OK to do this.

It is OK to say no to some activities and only say yes to the ones you really want to do.  It is OK to protect your school time.    It is OK to make time to pamper and cherish yourself and your children.  It is OK to not let others dictate how you spend your time.

Stand up for yourself and use your time the way you want.  Just say "no."
