Knitting Books

I've been reading about knitting lately.  There are a number of wonderful books that are inspiring and informative.  Here are some of my favorites so far:

This was a fun book written with lots of wit.  I enjoyed reading it.

This book is good.  It is well worth reading and I guess it is the book that changed the industry and made things easier.  I am learning so much from it.  It is on my list of books to buy.

The S&B book was the only book that was able to really help me understand the in between steps in a knit stitch that no other book or pictures could.

Thanks for these recommendations! It is getting *cold* here -- knitting seems like a great hobby for me!

It's a relaxing hobby once you figure out how to do things. Teach Yourself Visually Knitting is a good starter book too.
