Fourth of July

Every year for fourth of July, we have a little fireworks show at the end of our driveway. It is composed of mostly fountains, smoke bombs, and snappers. But the whole family enjoys the event. We have a few neighbors around that shoot off the large fireworks which we can see over the houses and treetops.

Every year, I try to take pictures and they usually turn out to be blurs of light. This one turned out nice.

You can see some of the sparks fly from this one. It was a good holiday. We cooked out, watched the movie about George Cohan "Yankee Doodle Boy," and had a nice evening watching fireworks. Hope you enjoyed your fourth of July.
