What's in the box?

What are we doing next week? Let's find out.

Fourth grade:

Box 1--Grammar: Eats, Shoots and Leaves is on our reading list, apostrophes and commas will be notebooked and grammar exercises on verbs.

Box 2--Spelling: List K-3

Box 3--History/Science: taxation & tea party, lesson 8 in science and fun habitats.

Box 4--Math: Challenging Word Problems 4

Box 5--independent work:
Math: expressing remainders as fractions
Spelling: e-drop, suffix, prefix, helping verbs and contractions
Lapbook: finishing up dolphins
Copywork: finishing up composition and then cats

Second grade:

Box 1--Phonics: Spell to Write and Read list A, easy readers

Box 2--Main Lesson: fables, graphs, 5's, and nature stories

Box 3--Math: Miquon Orange work and Rod and Staff 12, 4, 8, time, place value to 1,000

Box 4--History: Egyptian kings Iry-Hor, Narmer, Menes, and Hor-Aha. We are notebooking them.

Box 5--Story: Peeps in Egypt and finishing up our paper mummy project

Read Aloud for bedtime: I don't know. We are now going to be waiting on The Carnivorous Carnival by Lemony Snickett.
