What's in the Box? Fourth Grade

So what is up for next week with my fourth grader?

Box 1--Language Arts: notebooking pages on capitalizing months, titles, place names and holidays. Her rabbits make good pets paper to copy and Oak meadow activities on syllables and making words ending in y plural.

Box 2--Latin: accusative & ablative forms, how to find the base of a noun and declining 3 nouns from vocabulary list B. We also have this book:

We are just playing with some of the words and expressions and adding them to her vocabulary.

Box 3--Science: population ecology & you own backyard forest.
History: plants in the new world.

Box 4--Math: Singapore Math Challenging Word Problems 4 whole number word problems.

Box 5--Independent:
a. read a chapter out of a book
b. math review from Rod and Staff 4 long division
c. dolphin lapbook
d. spelling list K-1, igh, suffixes, antonyms, derivatives, numbers and months
e. copywork on cats

Our current read aloud is The Vile Village by Lemony Snickett. We should be finished with this by Monday and will hopefully move onto the next book or finish The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
