A Mummy Cat

It is done. It takes about 3-4 days to make. But it is a fun project.

The top picture shows us tea-dying the white pillowcase strips and tube socks. We use Chinese restaurant tea bags. We dyed them overnight.

The next picture shows the strips hanging up to dry. Again we let them dry overnight. The socks took another day to dry.

Then we stuffed it with plastic bags and tied off the head and rolled up and tied off the foot part. That is what you have in the next picture.

The last picture shows the final project. We sewed on ears cut from the second sock, drew on a face and then wrapped it in the strips.

It was a fun project.

This looks like a neat project. I was afraid it was kin to the mummified chicken but this is much more pleasant.
