What's in the Workbox?

I have our workboxes set up for the week and here is what is in them:

Box 1--Read Aloud: By the Shores of Plum Creek and lapbook pieces

Box 2--2nd grade: grammar: finishing up pronouns and staring Kites Fly High and notebooking verbs
4th grade: Latin: working on lesson 8 in Lively Latin

Box 3--Math: 2nd grade: ordinal numbers and 2 column addition with no regrouping
4th grade: multiplication and fractions

Box 4--Spelling: List C, phonograms sh, ou, er and pronouns

Box 5--History: mountain men and the first presidents

Box 6--Science: Linnaeus and classification, I printed out the the classification cards from homeschoolshare for us to do on our pocket chart.

Box 7--Reading either independent or to Mommy

Box 8--Language arts activities: 2nd grade: word wall activities using magnets and tiles and word task cards, choice of game on Thursday
4th grade: Monday and Wednesday writing prompts, Tuesday word task card and Thursday choose a game

Box 9--Math activities: 2nd grade: math task cards, math game, math activity and choice
4th grade: story problems with rods diagrams online, math task cards, math game and choice

Box 10--spelling word using task cards and various language arts manipulatives like alphabet stamps, stencils, tiles and such.

Box 11--Get active with kids Yoga on demand

Box 12--Drawing book, paper dolls and play a game with your sister.

I think it will be a good mix of activities. I will let you know at the end of the week how it all went and what worked and didn't work for us.

We are also using the workbox system and it's worked well so far.

Sounds like you have a great line up ready for the week.

Thanks. This will be our third week with workboxes.

We love paper dolls so we have quite a collection and we just picked up a set that we printed off the internet a couple of weeks ago that my younger dd is working on coloring.
