Weekly Report: 4th Grade

Above are pictures of various notebooking and other activities we did this week. Here is the report:
Read Aloud--A Series of Unfortunate Events: A Bad Beginning

Latin--translating work
Math--addition and subtraction of fractions
Spelling--plurals, qu and vowel sounds
Science--scientific method, Galileo's life, liquid density experiment
Art--pencil box, color, drawing exercises
It was a good week. A lot better than the first six weeks of the year where everyone was bored and difficult. Now they are enjoying their work and being creative. I am also having a lot more fun. We are all looking forward to trying out our new history stuff next week. It looks like we are adding art to the line up which is something I have always enjoyed. With history we are also adding music which should be fun.
Hope you had a great week.

Is it as fun as it looks? LOL. I love the looks of your notebooking pages! My homeschool has felt so dull lately. Can I send my kids to your school? LOL.

Yes, it has been a lot of fun. We all do some of the drawing so some is mine, some is the children's and it is so much better than the dull work we were doing before.

I have also noticed that the kids have stopped complaining about schoolwork. Even math is fun when you make pictures.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
