Wednesday Review: Story of the World 3

We loved Story of the World 1, struggled through Story of the World 2 and have found a nice flow with Story of the World 3. This book covers the years 1600 through 1850 and all the major events that took place during those years.

The stories are a nice overview of people and events. Susan Wise Bauer includes all major locations where history was taking place during that period. My daughter's only complaint has been, "Why does everyone die in my stories?"

But they are a great introduction to World History.

And the Activity Guide which has maps, coloring pages, activities, projects and discussion questions:

Some families also like the CDs:

If you are looking for a history curriculum in a nice story format then take another look at Story of the World.
