Wednesday Review:

Where do I get all of those neat ideas for lapbooks?

There are a ton of ideas for lapbooks on animals, books, history, character, science, math, language arts, geography, etc. at this site. It is a wonderful resource and a great place for my children to get ideas about what they want to learn about.

What else is on the site?

Lapbooking templates so that if you have an idea of a lapbook that you want to do but they do not have it on the site, you can use these to make your own. Page down on this page and there is even a section that tells you what mini books will work best with the amount of information you are looking for in answer to your questions.

What about unit studies?

They have those too. And if you are a fan of Five in a Row there are all sorts of ideas for you.

And now there is even a place to go where you can ask questions if you get stuck or contribute more ideas:

The forums are great and a very welcoming place to talk about unit studies, lapbooking and notebooking.

Overall, I think that is one of the best resources for homeschooling on the Internet right now. And it is all free. Except of course for your library card because you will want to be running to the library to find all those great books the units and lapbooks are based on.

Hope you enjoy this resource as much as I have.
